Trading for In-store Credit

Appointments are not necessary, and trades are taken in the order they are received on Tuesdays & Saturdays. You may need to come back at a later date to pick up your credit and/or books not taken. If this is the case, we call you when your order is finished.

Establish an Account

Trade books, no more than 20 per day, for in-store credit. We give approximately 20% of the current book price as in-store credit. Your credit is printed on your cash register receipt, and placed with your leftover books, for use on your visits.

Your credit will be returned to you along with any books we cannot take. Returned books are marked "cannot take" or "try again," depending on condition and inventory needs. Please pick up your books within 48 hours of processing date/phone call; books not picked up are donated or disposed of after one week.

Buying with Credit

In-store credit transactions include a cash handling fee of $.50 for each item. This fee helps us to cover the process of giving a fair price to each and every book.

Our Prices

Our book prices are based on current book values shared by other book sellers, considering the condition of the book, rarity, importance, collectors' demands, ownership history, and our inventory needs.
